Hypershot is built around switching between a main weapon, a backup option, and abilities while moving through fast team and solo fights. The official Roblox description confirms that players earn Coins and Gems to unlock weapons and skins, but it does not publish a complete arsenal, damage table, rarity list, or price sheet. This hub therefore works as a currently documented weapon index, not a claim that every live item has been captured.
Choose the weapon page that answers your question
Primary weapons
Compare rifles, SMGs, shotguns, snipers, and unusual projectile weapons by engagement range and execution demand. Start here when you need a reliable main gun.
Secondary weapons
Pick a backup that solves the primary's failure case: a close-range rescue for a sniper, fast cleanup after a slow projectile, or a dependable swap during reload downtime.
Melee weapons
Understand melee as a spacing and finishing tool without assuming cosmetic rarity creates a combat advantage. Confirm whether an item is a functional weapon or only a skin.
Weapon tier list
Use a dated decision framework for consistency, range coverage, recovery after a miss, and mode fit. The page avoids pretending one list is universal across Ranked, Duels, and open lobbies.
Unlock guide
Plan Coins and Gems around a playstyle test, inspect the live source, and distinguish a base weapon unlock from a cosmetic skin, Case, bundle, or trade.
Currently documented primary pool
Recent weapon rankings repeatedly name AK, M4, Scar-H, FAMAS, Drakonova, and Xenotech Rifle among rifle-style choices. P90, Vectorstrike, Pulsar SMG, MP5, Type 100, and Drum Gun appear as automatic close-to-mid-range candidates. Barrett, Bolt Sniper, and Hunter are reported sniper or precision options, while AA-12, Shotgun, Inferno Phoenix, Fart Gun, and Flamethrower appear in close-range or shotgun-oriented coverage.
Community lists also include unconventional weapons such as Oracle Staff, Stargazer, Minigun, RPD, Plasma Rifle, Grenade Launcher, RPG, Shark Blaster, Tomato, and Pizza Barrage. Names like Tralalero Tralala also appear in a current list. These are useful search and Shop-check candidates, not proof of live availability. Event, Mythic, Secret, OG, or limited variants can rotate, and a skin name can be mistaken for a base weapon.
The index deliberately omits copied damage, DPS, magazine, spread, and headshot multipliers. Independent rankings can describe how an item felt to the author, but a balance change can invalidate the number while leaving the article title untouched. Open the current weapon details, then test the same engagement more than once before comparing.
Match a weapon to the fight you want
For a first all-purpose slot, begin with a controllable rifle or automatic weapon you already own. Test it at close, medium, and long sightlines. Record whether you can keep the reticle on a strafing target, finish a damaged opponent without reloading, and recover when the first burst misses. The best early weapon is the one that produces repeatable fights while you learn movement.
For a rush build, prioritize handling at the distance where you actually enter rooms and corners. Community sources repeatedly place weapons such as Vectorstrike, P90, Pulsar SMG, and AA-12 in aggressive conversations, but that does not guarantee their current tier or price. Pair the choice with movement or sustain that helps you close distance, and carry a secondary that can finish outside its ideal range.
For long-range control, precision weapons such as Barrett or Bolt Sniper demand a different question: can you secure value and relocate before opponents reach you? A high-impact shot is wasted if the player stays on one angle, misses under movement pressure, or has no close-range backup. The Loadouts hub turns those tradeoffs into complete builds.
A practical five-step test
- Equip one weapon and keep the rest of the loadout stable.
- Play the same mode for several matches so objective and spawn behavior are comparable.
- Record the range where fights are won, lost, or abandoned.
- Note the failure: recoil control, slow recovery, empty magazine, projectile timing, or poor close-range answer.
- Change one variable—weapon, secondary, or ability—and test again.
This test is more useful than copying a tier label because it reveals the cost of the weapon in your hands. A theoretically strong sniper can be a weak choice for a player still learning sightlines. A community-lower automatic can be the better Ranked tool when it keeps pressure through imperfect aim.
Unlock, skin, and trade are different decisions
The official description separates weapons from skins, and the trading ecosystem primarily discusses cosmetic weapon, knife, and knuckle skins. Before paying Coins, Gems, Cash, Robux, or opening a Case, identify what the screen is selling. A base weapon changes the usable arsenal; a skin changes appearance; a bundle may combine items; a Case is a randomized cosmetic source subject to regional limits; a trade exchanges eligible cosmetics with another player.
Do not use a community value as a Shop price. Do not assume a rare skin unlocks the underlying weapon. Do not assume a weapon named in an old tier list can still be obtained from the same place. The Unlock Guide covers the purchase checklist, while Trading Values handles non-official market references.
Building a small useful arsenal
A new account does not need every weapon. Build three tested roles: one forgiving general-purpose primary, one close-range pressure option, and one precision or special-purpose option. Add a secondary that covers the weakest of those roles. This gives enough variety for TDM, CTF, FFA, Gun Game practice, and Duels without draining every currency into items that duplicate the same range.
When a new item is promoted, compare it with the role you already own. Ask whether it opens a genuinely different route, improves consistency, or only adds novelty. If the current game does not show its source, rarity, and permanent availability clearly, wait. A title such as NEW MYTHIC confirms promotional state, not the Mythic’s exact identity, power, drop rate, or end date.
Weapons FAQ
What is the best weapon in Hypershot?
There is no official universal answer. Community rankings commonly favor Barrett, Drakonova, Pulsar SMG, Vectorstrike, and P90, but the result depends on update, range, mode, platform, and player execution. Use the dated Weapon Tier List as a testing shortlist.
Is this a complete weapon list?
No. It is a currently documented index from sources checked August 7, 2026. The official description confirms the weapon system but does not expose a complete live catalog.
Are weapon stats shown here?
No exact live stats are asserted. Read the current client and test damage, magazine, recoil, and recovery after a patch instead of relying on a copied 2025 table.
Should I buy a weapon or open Cases first?
If your current arsenal does not support your preferred range, a known base-weapon unlock is easier to evaluate than randomized cosmetics. Confirm the live currency and source before acting.
Where do abilities fit?
Abilities change how a weapon reaches its ideal fight, survives downtime, or escapes. Continue to the Abilities index and Loadouts hub after choosing a primary role.
